Three more TGA players are headed to Pinehurst in December for winning CGA events on Monday at Bermuda Run. In the 50-54 age group, Eddie James finished 1st Place net with a score of 74; in the 55-59 age group, “Mister” Mark Hartson took 1st Place Net with an 80; and Mike Lewallen, in the 60-64 age group, took 1st Place Net with a 72. Great going guys!

In a Senior Four Ball at Carolina GC in Charlotte on April 6, Johnny Colvard and partner Gary Schatz took 2nd Net with a 63. They must be the leading money winners of the Senior Four Balls so far this year!

While not a current member of the TGA, Ross (“The Intern”) Slaughter won the Forsyth County High School Golf Championship recently with a 68 at Winston Lake GC. Ross is the young man who works with the carts at Tanglewood – congratulate him the next time you see him!

In a CGA One-Day event at Brushy Mountain on Sunday, April 26th, eleven (11) TGAers participated but only one came through with a win. Brian Sainz took 1st Net in the A Flight by shooting a net 69. Good going Brian, you’ve punched your ticket to Pinehurst in December!

TGA members made up almost a quarter of the field for this event! Due to the stellar play of the remaining members (NOT), and in order to protect the guilty, we won’t mention the other 10 players who failed to cash!
