Guest handicaps for Member-Guest

First, get signed up!

Second, if your guest does not have a verifiable handicap index, email me, secretary@tanglewood36.com, with at least the five most recent 18 hole scores (or combination of nine & 18 hole scores that total five 18 hole rounds), along with the course, tees played, and course rating / slope for those tees.

I’ll take that, and calculate a handicap index, and review the calculations with the handicap committee & tournament chairman.

I will need those scores by midnight, July 8th.

Texas Scramble Results

1st VP and Handicap Chairman Steve Livingston sends:

Tournament day was mild early, hot later with no rain all day, a perfect day for late June golf.   Our group started on the tenth where we were immediately accosted by a member of the trailing group that seemed to have anger issues.  The “gentleman’s” actions were the key to our efficient effort.  We had a goal to be at least three holes ahead and you can’t do that by hitting a lot of shots.  Thank you, Mister!

Now we turn our attention to the big one, the Member Guest. Get your partner lined up, and enter your information on line.  We will be dealing with a lot of “outside” information to set-up the roster.  If you’re entering your partner’s ghin (assuming he has one), please double check the numbers, spelling of their names, etc.  Everybody does a great job with this, so thanks…it’s a big help.

Best regards,

Steve
