Thanks for coming out this weekend! Fun was had by all. We had perfect weather this weekend and both courses were in good shape. Nice to see the spray that the maintenance staff used on the championship is finally choking out some of the clover. Hopefully the warmer days will start to help the Bermuda to grow.

Congrats to Greg Howard and Patrick Hynes on winning the first flight! Patrick shot a 69 on his own ball yesterday, team score 65. Great playing! Kenny Flynn and Keith McElrath had a team score 64 for the low team round of the day.

We had a 3 team playoff for 1st gross in the second flight, between Bostic/Schatz, Robson/Kiser, and Smith/Cavanaugh. Ultimately Mark Robson and Jonathan Kiser won on the second hole with a par. Great up and down by Kiser. Not sure Hayes and Shawn slept last night thinking about their tough loss.

In Flight 3 we had Charlie Fisher and Josh Dalton winning gross with a total score of 147. They were low round of the day in that flight with a team 72. May be a new formidable duo for future interclub matches! Great playing guys. Joe Crocker and Richard Gottlieb also had a very good best ball score of 74 yesterday to take home 2nd place. Chip Baker and Gene Cox ran away with 1st Net 125 total.

Flight 4 was very tight as well, but in the end Steve Livingston and Steve Felenczak won net with 131. Dan Mureness and James Giblin won gross with 151.

Thanks to everyone that helped with the scoring, and beverages. A lot goes into this weekend, a lot of moving pieces and wouldn’t be possible without your help. Very appreciated! Also a special thanks to Joe Brooks wife as she came out and helped with the scoring! I’m sure it was not where she wanted to be, but very appreciative that she took time to come help myself and Joe out.

Congrats to all the winners, results are here!!

Note: Do not post your scores, we will be posting them for you!

Next up is the US Open tournament on June 19th. We will be playing the Championship course on Saturday, and before you tee off you will pick a pro that is competing in the real US Open to combine your score with. The Pro’s round that goes with yours will be their Sunday round. More details to come but put it on your calendar and come out and have a good weekend!
