Championship Course Update, Sept. 18, 2018

If you have any questions, you should call the course. Replying to the email that sends out this post just comes back to your Association secretary.

Hope you made it through the hurricane safely.
Due to the weather, there hasn’t been a lot of progress since our last update. They’ve been able to spread and level sand that was already in a few of the bunkers before the rain. Hopefully, they will be able to continue to grass areas later in the week.
As part of the Championship Course renovation celebration, we are giving away a Titleist Scotty Cameron Select Newport 2 putter and a Titleist SM7 Vokey wedge. Stop by the pro shop next time you’re out and enter to win. Drawings will be held opening day!
Enjoy the photos.

Championship Course Update, Sept. 11

Mike Wilcox sends:

Here is the latest on the renovation progress.
All of the shaping, graveling and liner installation of bunkers is complete. Wadsworth Golf Construction is now in the process of hauling sand to each bunker. Once they finish, they will begin leveling it out.
The sod team also finished sodding the bunker surrounds today. They have now moved on to grassing and seeding other areas of the course.
Wadsworth Golf Construction still has several punch list items to knock out and areas to clean up, but we are on the “home stretch.”
Finally, the Tanglewood maintenance staff has aerated the Reynolds Course and overseeded the tees and fairways on both courses. Fall is near!
