TGA Golfers,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you may have heard by now, the Senior Interclub Team suffered a heart-breaking 37-35 loss in our quarterfinals match last Thursday against Crossings Golf Club, to end our season with an 8-1-0 record (19-1-0 over the last 2-years).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All of our teams played well and everything seemed to be going according to plan (keep it close at Crossings, play well at Tanglewood and let our home course advantage take care of the rest) until one of their 12-handicap players went \u201coff plan\u201d and shot a 73 at Tanglewood, including birdies on 2 of the last 3 holes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So in spite of exceptionally good play by Tanglewood (Howard (70), Goodson (70), Marovich (77), Crawley (77), etc.), Crossings reached into our bag of tricks to earn a hard fought victory and moves on to the Final Four.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tanglewood had a great run this year and deserves to be proud of everything we accomplished and our reputation as a formidable match play opponent. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
