Team Tanglewood started our quest for another trip the Senior Interclub Final Four with a resounding 54-26 win over Forest Oaks Country Club. Today\u2019s match had all the earmarks of a close contest between two evenly matched teams, but it turned into a rout with Tanglewood handily winning all 4 individual matches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rodie Marovich\/Mark Robson (Net 68), 13-7 Win<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Forest Oaks Matches:
Patrick Hynes\/Todd Brown (Net 61), 13.5-6.5 Win
Mark Hartson\/Chip Baker (Net 66), 13.5-6.5, Win<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Final Score: 54-26<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I normally don\u2019t like to single out individual players, but I\u2019m making an exception today. Patrick Hynes shot a 65 at Forest Oaks, including 5 birdies in a row on the front nine, and 9 birdies for the round. Please congratulate Patrick on his exceptional round, and for earning a coveted *Big Kahuna Award!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our season record is now 4-3-0, and our next match is against Pinehurst #9. Pinehurst finished the regular season with a 5-1-0 record and won their Pod to earn a first round bye Playoff bye.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
