“A comeback for the ages!”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s what a long-time TGAer said after the Hatfield’s overcame a 23-point Day-1 deficit and ended up winning the tournament by 5-points (223.5 to 218.5). The Hatfield’s needed just 12-matches to erase the McCoy’s lead, but the McCoys fought back during the middle matches and, just when it looked like it might be their day, the Hatfields caught a second win and secured the comeback victory by winning 11 out of the final 12-points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was a very spirited and very competitive tournament, and even though it wasn’t the outcome the McCoys were looking for, I think everyone had a great time. The McCoys have 1-year to plot their revenge. I expect them to pull out all the stops next year, so block out your calendars if you want in on the fun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, special thanks to Glenn Levine for taking care of the beverages and post-tournament meal from Jersey Mike’s. Also, thanks to Julia for helping Glenn and driving the refreshment cart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
