The sod crew has finished with all of the bunker surrounds on the back-nine. All green and bunker areas on the back have now been covered with new “419 bermudagrass” sod. They started working on hole #9 this afternoon.

Wadsworth Golf Construction is working on the fairway bunkers on the front. They have installed drainage, gravel and sprayed the Better Billy Bunker liner in a couple. They have also begun adding new sand to a few more greenside bunkers on the front.

The greens are filling in quickly. The Tanglewood maintenance staff is doing a great job bringing them along. They have been busy top dressing, rolling, feeding and mowing to get them ready. They look terrific.
