Wonderful Member/Guest event we had on August 8th & 9th!! While it was terribly hot, we had no individual issues with heat related conditions to my knowledge. We are well practiced at staying hydrated. Many of us an our guests got a good start on hydration at the Calcutta meeting on Friday August 7th. We ate well also thanks to Dan Eldridge and BJ Richardson, 2nd VP.

Special thanks to Steve Livingston-1st VP. This is the most challenging tournament to organize the field into reasonably balanced divisions/flights on our calendar. He wisely sought consul from several of the executive officers & handicap committee chairman to formulate the best competitive field.

Also, I got some solid help from Tim Medema on both days. Thank you Tim. Rob Heflin, former president), rangered and all kinds of other things. Dan Eldridge bought, cooked, prepped and donated over 100 lbs of pork and it was delicious. Marty Vicens helped a ton on the raffle. Bob Oswald helped with the food Friday night. Jim Williams (former president) and Keith Lester (current president) did a great work with the Calcutta. Brian Sainz (former president) has been working with the sign-ups in the back ground. Second VP BJ Richardson and his family did a lot of work, while BJ and his son played some great golf. There’s more….
