Since we’re all sitting around bored, including me, I thought I’d run a couple of year-end reports for your amusement.
The first, 2022 Most Improved Golfer shows those of you who improved your handicap index in 2022. It’s sorted by most improved, and includes anyone whose handicap index improved, or stayed the same.
In doing a quick review, there were some things that stood out to me. First, it’s a great mix of handicaps at every level – higher handicap guys, middle of the road, and surprisingly (to me) some scratch guys who are even scratchier now!
If you’re too tired from doing nothing for a few days and can’t click on the link above, the top 10 includes: James Patterson, Shawn Cavanaugh, Mark Rucinski, Sam Uberseder, Glenn Makitka, Brady Rockey, Jeremy Ray, Fred Uberseder (must be something in the water at the Uberseder’s house….), Henry Johnson, and Josh Dalton.
Great playing to anyone who made the report!
If your name is missing from the report (like mine), it is not an error. It would appear to mean we sucked in 2022, and got worse.
The second report is another fun one, but there weren’t quite as many surprises on this one. The 2022 Rounds Posted Report.
The King of Rounds played, Gregor Howard, retains his crown in 2022 with 255 rounds posted. His stiffest competition, Hugh Quinn and Scott Wearn were well back — which I guess was a bit of a surprise. I’m thinking Scott is not posting all his rounds, and is not aware of the SIGNIFICANT AWARD for winning this title…
Fourth on this list is an older gentleman who generally has the first tee time M-F and plays 18 holes in, wait for it…. under two hours most days — Peter Schultz.
Anyway, that’s all the fun we can have for tonight, but I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas, and hope we all have a safe and fun New Years.
TANGLEWOOD!!!
