Please see the results. I don’t have a lot of color to add to the results, as I had to go to Augusta on Saturday. I know we had great payouts and a lot of very happy people. We even had some happy non-TGA’ers. I’m referring to the guys who stole Saturday’s beer, soda, and water from us. Not good, but we’ll have to figure out something going forward.

I know a great time was had by most. BJ hooked us up with great food. Terry Payne and Al Long did a great job with the raffle. Terry could have been an auctioneer…he puts a lot of energy into it and it works well for the participants and the TGA. Jim did an outstanding job with the Calcutta…totally prepared, as usual, and knows how to do it efficiently. Hugh, Glenn, Jim, Terry, others did a great job with the scoring too. Many thanks to these guys and others. There’s a lot of moving parts to these two day tournaments and we, like you, just want to have fun and enjoy the fellowship. I think we accomplished that.

I don’t have the payout numbers for the Calcutta winners, but we’ll get that out.

We’ve had some problems with emails from me going to SPAM. We have to figure that out before the next tournament. I’ll switch to my GMAIL account going forward, as I understand security protocols in Google Groups may be causing it. We will figure it out.

Next up is the 5 club Memorial. It’s just what it sounds like. Start thinking about which 5 clubs will work best for you to get around the Championship course. Your putter is included in the 5 clubs or you can putt with say your 1 iron. This round is not postable.
